Fortaleza Reposado is crafted at the historic Fortaleza distillery in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, using time‑honoured methods. Made from 100% blue weber agave grown in the Tequila Valley, the piñas are slow‑roasted in stone ovens, crushed with a traditional tahona stone, fermented in open‑air wooden tanks, and double‑distilled in copper pot stills.
The tequila is then rested in oak barrels, where it develops a deeper golden colour and layered flavours: sweet cooked agave, vanilla, caramel, citrus, and soft spice, all wrapped in gentle oak. Bottled in Fortaleza’s iconic hand‑blown style bottle, this reposado is perfect neat, on the rocks, or as the base for elevated tequila cocktails.
